We have a cottage with two interconnecting bedrooms. There is a mezzanine level in each room that accommodate under 12s (who then stay for free). We also have several spacious safari tents that can be put up on request; so Granny can come too....
As many of the ingredients as possible come directly from the farm. Everything else is locally, ethically and seasonally sourced. Meals are laid on in our house, a short walk form the cottage, or we can send a hamper down to you if you prefer.
In fact we can send a hamper anywhere on the farm if you would like supper under the stars.
The farm and the surrounding area is yours to explore. Riding around the farm on bicycle, motorbike or horse, sundowners at an unbroken caldera or just relaxing in the pool interspersed with high octane games of croquet. Immerse yourself in this cathedral of the wild.
It's your safari and the idea is to disconnect from your day to day life. But learning or developing a skill could be a great way to do just that. From Art to Yoga or Archery to Photography tutors can come to the farm to run individual lessons for you.
Epic safari destinations such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are on our doorstep. From the close by Arusha airstrip Southern Tanzania and of course Zanzibar are in easy reach. We would be delighted to suggest companies that we know and trust and would be the right 'fit' for your family's safari.
